Yes, it’s me again… Miss me? I hope so, because i have certainly missed you, and missed my blog too! Man, internet-less living is not all it is cracked up to be…But beach-living, holiday living, Christmas-cooking living… Now I could get to grips with that quick smart!
I’ve had a delightful and busy Holiday season, and my prolonged break for the last week had partly to do with a lot of big things happening in my Family and life, and the year is off to a roaring start with a bang instead of a whimper. I’ve not retired! Sorry to scare some of you 
How can you retire from this great place I’m in? Anyway… the one bad thing about Christmas is I didn’t get too much of a tan, but I definitely have had a smile on my face that even this icy weather can’t wipe off. How about yours? Resolutions banged up yet?
It has been mentioned to me, that I count into the category of indulgences that are resolution proof. It’s true! Smoke too much? Quit. Eat too much? Quit. Drink too much? Quit. It’s all quit this quit that, and the ‘Do More of’ List tends to be oblique, unmanageable and very un-fun. How fun a Resolution list is ‘Eat more sprouts, drink less wine’ But ‘have less fun?’ Well Sir you never do come across that one do you! I am always an indulgence good for the heart and mind. So it’s been said to me, anyway With a wink wink and a nudge nudge, I am in the handy category of Fun-to-do resolutions… Woohoo for me!
My own resolutions include travel, seeing more of old friends and family, (And old family) Doing more voluntary work, Living green and reducing my energy footprint, and trying to tackle a couple challenges (No I don’t mean getting my head betwixt my ankles! Or do I?? No, we’re still a decade away from THAT yoga class… ) … And of course being happy, and living happy. (Ok, maybe I have sworn to eat more sprouts too and finish my bloody alphabet post series).
I Hope this chilly weather hasn’t frozen you up, and that you had a delightful Happy New Year, Here is to a blissful 2010, to beat all that has come before, and to a scrummy new decade…. Are we calling it the ‘Tens?’
